Hi All, I've decided to go back to the free version of Zone Alarm after trying the Comodo Pro firewall.

Comodo had its own uninstall which I ran, I then rebooted my PC and began to install Zone Alarm The message I got was as follows,

'INSTALLER...Setup is unable to log into the TrueVector Service. Install cannot continue without logging into the TrueVector service.

Please use the Services Manager to shutdown the TrueVector service and then restart the installer program'.

Can I ask where the Services Manager is in WinXP SP2 ?

I've lookes in the Service's via Start/Run/services.msc and cannot find anything relating to Service manager, TrueVector or Zone Alarm.

TrueVector does not show up in msconfig/startup as it used to do.

I did a search for Service Manager and TrueVector, nothing was found.

So, how do I get ZA onto my pc?

It was there once but I uninstalled it to try Comodo Pro.

Does anyone know how I can get ZA too load on again?

Many thanks,

Mike
