problem; excede profile storage

  armand 12:01 21 May 2007

I have an old laptop (xp pro)at my firm, which was set up under an old IT system with roaming profiles. The laptop is not used on our new network, so doesn't have a profile anymore, nor do we use roaming profiles on our new IT system ,- it's now only used as a stand alone pc, off-network. The problem is that the profile storage space is so low it won't allow the user to log off without reducing the saved data. This is almost impossible to do. Any tips for expanding this storage capacity or doing away with it all?

Are you actually saying the harddrive is near full ?

If so and you cannot remove some data from the hdd,how about connecting a usb external drive.

No Skidzy. The profile only allows 30MB of storage. The hard drive has loads of space.
