I posted about this last week and thought the problem had been solved.

I have recently had my PC re built.

New mother board, hard drive and memory.

During the last week I have been getting this message.

Exception Processing Message c00000a3 Parameters 7cc31d6c 7cc31d6c 7cc31d6c 7cc31d6c

Can someone tell me what this means please?

Thank you

Richard

P.S. When I mentioned this before I was told to look for yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager...I did this, saw the yellow excamation mark and cured the problem by following the wizard from within Device Manager...the yellow exclamation mark is no longer there, but I am still getting this error mesage every morning.

When does it happen - at boot up, when the machine gets as far as loading Windows? Is it a blue screen crash or just an error message?

Hello

Thank you for the reply.

I leave my PC on all the time, I see the error message when I first use the PC in the morning.

Its not a blue screen, just an error message.

What device was showing the yellow exclamation mark?

The device that was showing the yellow exclamation mark was a USB hub.

Look in the event log; click here

Hello

I went into event viewer.

I found the entry in the system log.

There are three types of entry, they are;

warning/error/information

The entry I found had an information icon.

I clicked properties, all it said was that it was an application pop up and then gave the error message...nothing else.

OK, download Process Explorer ; click here - next time you see the popup, open Process Explorer, click on the target icon (furthest to the right on the toolbar) and drag it over the popup - it will highlight the process responsible for it. What's it's name?

I have just downloaded Process Explorer.

Normally I see the error message after a period of inactivity, for example when I first use the PC in the morning.

I shall do as you say and speak again when I have tried your suggestion.

Thank you

Richard
