Problem After Win 2000 Upgrade

After Installing Win 2000 Upgrade I Get A Message On The Screen At Start Up That "The Drive Or Network ConnectionThat The Shortcut CPEUPDATE.lnk Refers To Is Unavailable.Make Sure That The Disk Is Properly Inserted Or The Network Resource Is Available'.How Can I Get Rid Of This Error.Also When I Go To Search,Files Or Folders,And Start Typing Windows Installer Starts And Says The Disk Feature I Am Trying To Use Is On A Disk And To Insert The Disk In The Cd Rom I Have To Cancel About Six Times Before It Finally Cancels.Any Ideas Guys On Either Problem.

It's asking for the W2K os disc. I think there's a utility on the disc that's needed for the upgrade
