private folder

Hi, I have run my Bit Defender and on completion it says i have a virus in a folder which is named MY PRIVATE FOLDER, and although I have tried Revo uninstaller, and Unlocker to try to remove the empty floder, it still refuses or shall I say denies me to delete. Is there something I can do or download to rid myself of this folder, thank you.

Do you have 'Microsoft Private Folder 1.0 for Windows XP' installed?
That gives you a folder called My Private Folder and is password protected.

Can you rename it, (although I doubt it if you can't delete it) then rty and delete it.
Also try to delete it using Move on boot

Hi, yes it was microsoft private folder for windows xp, and i deleted all the others but this opens ok with no items inside, but I cannot delete the folder itself with the virus, tried most things? please help.

i deleted all the others

Do you mean deleted or uninstalled? if you deleted, I would suggest re installing and then uninstalling using add or Remove Programs in Control panel.
