Printing Problems

  logrin 11:41 06 Aug 2007

My printer has stopped printing my bank statements. Every time I press print I get a statement that I need an adobe pdf file, then I get a message that my Adobe isn't installed? I have tried to download my Adobe 3 upgrades wih no satisfaction.
I have then tried "system restore" but this didn't help. Adsobe keeps asking me to register and buy their program, is this nessessary.
I have MS Vista on my new computer, is this my problem logrin

Possibly Vista is the culprit-it seems to be mucking things up in all sorts of directions.
However Adobe Reader is free.
Do a 'Google'[or your favourite browser] for Adobe reader I think it is up to V 8 now.

Much, much smaller download and equally effective PDF reader from Foxit:

There's an editor as well.

But so is Foxit and, at a 1.67M download, is a lot less than Adobe Reader's 22MB plus..:-)
