Printing problem

My wife has an HP 2575 printer. It has just started to take the bottom off the letters every third line. Does it in Word and Notepad and my printer is OK when I try to print one of her documents on my printer so it looks as though it is her printer at fault. I'm sure this one has been raised before and sorted but I can't find it, so help, please, otherwise my unjustified fame as a permanent sort-all will be gone.

Suggest you run a self-test report iaw click here and see if any parts are missing. You may need to clean the print cartridge.

Pride goes before a fall. Done all the self tests - all OK. Tried different printing qualities (normal was OK until recently, then tried best but now no potato). Time for the bin?

Cartrdge- so it would seem a duff row of jets.
They do fail eventually - the heaters burnout
especially if it is a third part[rebuilt/refilled] example.
