Printing labels in MS Word

Hi there

I used to use Sidekick 99 for printing out my address labels - a good little free program, BUT it won't work with Vista.

So, tried to do labels with Microsoft Excel and Word.

In MS Word it seems that you can only print out single labels, or a whole page full of labels (which annoyingly is the default setting.) How can I print out just 2 or 4 of the same label?
Is the new MS Office 2007 any better for this?

Alternativly, is there a better program to do it? I tried Open Office, but it only prints envelopes.

Any ideas please,

KJR

In word click on tools/letters and mailing/envelop and labels select the label you want, click on new document you will now have a blank template that you can save. Open this at any time and insert an address onto any of the segments then print.

Try Visual Labels from
Its free to try and only $19.95 (about£10) to activate and lets you print as many or as few labels as you wish in any position on the label sheet.
Tip - if only using part of a sheet of labels start from the bottom and then you can reuse the sheet without the possibility of bits of the borders left over becoming detached in your printer.
