Printing dvd covers

I know there must be a very simple answer to this question, but after a lot of time and effort,i still can't find one.I'm using Nero cover designer to try and print off a cover for a dvd case, but can't work out how to get the printout width wise. When i've finished designing a cover for the box,it show the finished artwork on the screen lengthwise,(from right ot left)as it would look when it's in the plastic dvd case. But obviously to print it this way would be impossible because of the length of the printer itself. So i need to print it from top to bottom,so i can then cut it out etc.Can anyone tell me how to do this.Thanks.

Try printing in landscape format

Go to File/print setup change to landscape. If you now look in print preview you can see how it would print.
