Printer problem

I have an Epson SX600FW All In One Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax new in October 2009.
When I now print some of the words on lines are split horizontaly in the middle. This shows as a white line acros the full width of the paper.
I have done a nozzle clean and a realighnment as per the instructions but it has not corrected the fault. I am using Epson ink cartridges and Internationa Basic A4 paper 80g/m3.
Have checked the settings for the printer and these have not been altered since the original installation.
I have Windows XP.
No problem with scanning or fax.

Sounds like the print rollers are not pulling the paper through at an even speed - as it was new in October (presumably you mean 2008) I would suggest taking it back under the warranty.

Sea Urchin,
I am taking it back on Wednesday as you suggest.
Just thought someone on the helproom forum may know what was wrong.
Thank you for your reply
