I have just set up my old epson c46 printer , i have installed all the driver etc and it appears to be ok, but i cannot get it to print. It printed a test page when i was cleaning the jets on line at the epson site, but when i go to print anything else i get nothing and a bubble comes up with this document failed to print, any suggestions?

that will make no difference. You can set a printer to Default if you use more than one printer. As I do.

Go to Start\Settings\Printers you should see the Default printer it as a mark on the icon. If you have more than one printer right click the one you want to print from as Default and set it

go to start settings
i click start dont see settings, xp home
valid point on default

If you right click your bar at the bottom Properties you can set it to Classic mode You will then see settings

Although I have XP Home on four of my Computers they are all set to Classic as I like it better plus one of the desktops I Dual boot with 98se.

Don't like all the fancy icons in XP Mine all look like 98se. Plus its faster without it turned on
