I have an epson dx 38000 and do a lot personalised address labels with microsoft publisher and just recently when it prints it misses some words on some of the labels, they have 24 stickers on each sheet, it only happens randomly, some sheets print ok but others there are some words or just letters missing, i thought it was the printer up the creek so bought a new one epson dx4000, but just set it up and started printing away and the same thing has happened so it cant be the printer any ideas please as to what it could be?
Its the random bit that puzzles me, if it did it all the time to a particular part of the label then I would be tempted to say it was the way the borders are set up and would tell you to change the printable area under paper from standard to maximum. If it is random as you say and only happens once in a while then I'm lost. I would suggest though that if 2 printers do exactly the same thing then the problem can't be the printers and must be something to do with the setup in the software you are using.
yes that is what i am thinking so tryed to start from scratch but cant find the microsoft publisher in microsoft office programs.. as i print as a business and do loads aday i use the already saved files from my documents that i kept when my computer was updated some months back, as i didnt want to lose my work... is it possible that when microsoft office 2007 does not have publisher?
