printer with on-board fonts

I need to buy a printer that holds it's own fonts. Any ideas? Thanks

You mean a PostScript printer. That can be networked. I think you will have to pay out for one of these as not many use them now. They was mainly for DOS based Programs

Why do you need a printer that holds it's own fonts?

MOst printers nowadays take their fonts from the operating system, the only printers that store fonts are Dot Matrix printers that store 4 or 5 text fonts and a barcode font.

Not so I had a Epson Colour Pro that was Postscript Inkjet cost about £350 7 years ago it had 5 fonts these work different to windows, as in Windows Fonts are printed as Graphics
