print on the wrong side of the paper

Trying to print a posh Xmas card
It will be a one off ( so please no suggesting special paper etc )

Have a nice high gloss heavy paper for the card

But I want to print also the inside of the card

i.e the wrong side

My first attempt was to try and print using a photo matt setting
but the ink is not drying. ( or will it left long enough)

So the question is grin can you print on the wrong side
will the ink ever dry
if I stuck it in the airing cupboard ???

Most photo paper is not glazed on the obverse side, so the ink will spread or behave in an odd manner.

Posh Cards sometimes have a plain (or coloured) paper insert glued at the spine inside. This would be easy enough to do and you can make it quite fancy by adding borders, inside message greeting etc.

Some photo paper is not paper at all but a plastic sheet, either solid or fibrous. This may be the reason the ink will not absorb and dry properly.

I suggest you do as Taff™ says.
