I have somehow managed to change my print type in "Outlook" to ordinary type print, how can I change it back ?

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by ordinary print type.

Which Outlook - 2003, 2007, 2013 or Outlook.com?

I mean the type face of the lettering in Outlook looks like its been typed with an old typewriter, tried "system restore" did not solve problem

I think you're looking for a font called courier. Don't use Outlook so can't tell you where to change it but there should be a Font button somewhere at the top.

On the web page in your Outlook account if you look for the icon Aa it will allow you to change the font but will change back each time. If you look to the right and click on the cog, more settings go down to writing emails, formatting font and signatures you should be able to change it to what you want.
