Another question guy's, in the mags i see this when i'm looking at motherboards and processors,"presoked". What does this actually mean?.JAR JAR.

A 'soak test' is computer jargon for leaving a component or system running for a length of time, to ensure that it works as expected without errors.

I assume that a 'pre-soaked' cpu or mobo will have been powered up and left running for a time before despatch, to double-check that it has no manufacturing faults.

Cheers jazzy---regards--jar jar.

I would have thought that pre-soaked meant that it had not yet been soak tested. However this may be yet another americanism like pre-planning.
