Is it possible to get a Powerpoint presentation on to a DVD to run or autorun in a DVD player?
In other words bypass the need to run it through a computer?

This program looks like it might be up to the job:

I have never used it though, so I don't know whether you would have to setup a whole show with timers to move it on automatically, or whether it will still let you "click" through the slides on the DVD player.

Burn PowerPoint to DVD or disc, in fact, there commonly two steps, first convert to a certain video such as MPEG-2, then burn the video to disc.
And there are some software can do this at a time
Fox example: Acoolsoft PPT2DVD is a good solution of burn PowerPoint to DVD
