Powerpoint Query

I have a number of disks on which are powerpoint presentations produced on Powerpoint 2003 I do not seem to be able to open them in my other computer which has Powerpoint 2007. Is there any way of getting the 2003 produced disks to operate on my laptop using Vista with powerpoint 2007?

Sounds like possible file corruption. 2003 files should open in 2007 without any jiggery-pokery (that's the technical term!).

Are you getting any error messages?

You describe them as "powerpoint presentations" - do they have the file extension .pps ?
If so, this might be a clue, they could be read-only versions (i.e. uneditable).
Normal powerpoints are .ppt
If yours are .pps, you might need to download a free 'powerpoint viewer' from Microsoft.

Hope this might help, - it's about as far as I can help.

Cheers - hope you get sorted.

Have a read of this article. The bit under the heading "Convert your presentation to PowerPoint 2007" may help.
