Powerpoint full screen projection

My laptop has suddenly given up the ghost and I've got to project a powerpoint this afternoon using a borrowed laptop which is more up to date than mine. The Powerpoint version is also a newer version. My main concern is that when I press Slideshow and then View Show (as I normally do) the slides will be projected Full Screen onto the screen. I made the presentation on a Windows XP unit using a 2003 Powerpoint version. On the newer laptop, Windows 7 and newer Powerpoint I can't see any 'Full Screen' instructions. I'd be grateful for support.
