Powerpoint 2003

  heavymetalkid 19:46 02 Nov 2006

I don't seem to be able to open my Powerpoint 2003 to view an e-mail attachment. When I click on it from all-programs I get another box up, but clicking on "open" does nothing. Can anyone advise?

Cheers VoG...yes that's the message

Could I prevail on your good nature to possibly simplify it for me?

Which type of file extension is it - a PPS or a PPT ?

Could I test your patience and ask how I can ascertain that?

Please save the attachment to your hard drive. In Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab untick Hide extensions for known file types. In Windows Explorer it should now appear as filename.PPS or filename.PPT

It says HTM file

That isn't a Powerpoint file unless it has been saved in HTM format. You could try the fix click here for HTM files.
