Power supply went down...

My pc decided that it was not gonna work one morning....worked fine the night before, boots up as normal, lights flashing on front, floppy, cd & dvd trays light too, motherboard red diode comes on, hard drive whirs, cpu fan works- but nothing on screen! By process of elimination I found out that the power supply and the CPU went kapput!
Changed the 2 bits and we're up and running.
BUT my internet connection doesn't work. I'm on broadband and have on board LAN.Can just this bit go on the mother board?
I've done reinstalling the "AMBIT" drivers which it seems to have completed but the pc does not recognise it on the "Device Manager" I've also rolled back on "System Restore"-No difference...Any Ideas please..?
APOLOGIES 4 THE LONG WRITE UP !
