Recently my computer went through a phase of switching itself off, both when windows was loaded and during booting. I switched power cables and this seemed to resolve the problem, but it has started recently. Around the time this started happenign I updated the BIOS - the motherboard is a ECS K7S5A, BIOS as of 2/6/2002. I have a 350watt PSU, and a 2 HDD, a DVD drive, and a CD-RW. But I have never had power problems before, I upgraded from a 1.33gig Anthlon, to a 2gig XP chip - heance the BIOS update. Could this be causeing an extra power drain, or could the BIOS be at fault?
