One of the problems with this sort of system is that many commercial concerns (if they can be bothered to respond at all) have an automated system for reply, especially in the first instance. By using one of these false addresses, your expected reply will become lost in cyberspace.
Ths system does work, though, and I have used it in the past but it is a long way from being a real answer.
(The real answer involves large quantities of very hot oil into which the spammers are slowly immersed, feet first. Sadistic? Moi? Even that's too good for them:-))
