can anybody help me with the pop3 and smtp for the above cheers

Pop3 is your incoming mail such as pop.wanadoo.co.uk

smtp is your outgoing mail such as smtp.wanadoo.co.uk

If you need more help please just ask.

What sort of help do you require? I am with Orange formerly Wanadoo formerly Freeserve. If it's how the info should appear in your account settings then I can help. It should look something like this:

Incoming mail (POP3) pop.wanadoo.com
Outgoing mail (smtp) smtp.wanadoo.co.uk

Hope this helps.

If you are trying to logon with username and password,the username will be everything after the @ sign not the full email address.

  athenrye 21:09 29 Nov 2006

no probs with the email username and password its the pop3 and smtp i need

  Jak_1 21:12 29 Nov 2006

Ah, if it's an fsnet account then it will need to be freeserve and not wanadoo in the pop and smtp settings.

  athenrye 21:14 29 Nov 2006

just changed it to wanadoo and the smtp works as i sent mail but the pop3 dosnt
any ideas

  skidzy 21:17 29 Nov 2006

Can you post exactly what you have in the pop and smtp settings please.

  Jak_1 21:17 29 Nov 2006

Note that the pop3 is a .com and not a .co.uk.

My Outlook Express is set like this and im with Freeserve,well Wanadoo/Orange what ever you like to call it.

And works fine.

pop3 = pop.wanadoo.co.uk

smtp = smtp.freeserve.co.uk
