Hello Everyone.

I run win xp and my isp is BT. I use Ms Outlook 2007 Just recently when I am receiving emails it starts off ok and then hangs. Sometimes at 75% or sometimes after just receiving 3 or 4 emails. Sometimes doest receive at all it just hangs.

I have checked this with Thunderbird and mail washer (to just get headers) and it is still doing the same thing.

I have turned off the xp firewall and the hardware firewall on my modem/router, the receiving port is 110 (default) i even changed this to 500 to no avail.

When checking my emails on my home pc (at home) with thunderbird, it is fine.

Can anyone please help me solve this problem.

Thanks

Ry

...try deleting [once read] any mail you can see. Or delete the lase mail you downloaded. Outlook's database should then be forced to reinstate. It could be as simple as that
