Pop Up at Start Up

I am running Windows XP Pro. At some stage i must have loaded a sample program and it has expired.Now when i start my computer up this annoying little box springs up saying trial period expired please register>
Left clicking the box to find out which program is causing this,has no results.
Clicking the ok button in the box resolts in the box disappearing. Can you help me ge rid of it

Check what is in MSCONFIG under the startup tab; it may have a reference to it.

Alternatively, have a look in the startup folder in the start menu.

Another option is to get Mike Lin's startup control panel which will allow you to see what is starting up.

First try looking in your Start Up folder to see if it starts from there. if so just delete it.
