poor photo display??

  cbrookes75 20:03 10 Apr 2006

can anyone help me please, i have a 15 inch lcd monitor that is around three years old. all of a sudden photos and videos do not display properly, everything else displays fine, but photos and videos have strange blue and reddish discolouration on the highlights and shadows of an image, this varies in degrees from a minor irritation to making videos unwatchable, svideo output to my tv displays images perfectly, any help will be greatly appreciated, many thanks from chris

You will need to load drivers for it, also pull the wall plug out before you change it and try not touch any components or electric tracks
