My computer keeps freezing, sometimes taking 5 or 6 attempts to even switch on, or freezing loads whilst using. To make matters worse I (in a futile attempt to fix the problem), uninstalled Internet explorer and (although can log on) can no longer access loads of stuff, including; My Computer, Recycle bin. I am scared to remove anything as I have no discs to replace.
Sometimes I also get this sort of message..."caused a overflow error in module WINMX.EXE at 0167:0040372e. Has anyone any ideas before I shell out cash to a shop to fix.
