I have just purchased an ALBA 256mb mp3 player when connecting it to the pc via usb lead it recognises it as a USB PRODUCT however after that i get nothing it asks for the drivers to be installed so I have used the disk provided but still I get nothing it will not recognise it at all. My son has tried his mp3 player and I get the same problem. Windows is supposed to recognise it as a removable drive but like I say it will not recognise it as a drive on my computer but it will on my sons any help would be greatly appreciated THANKS!!!

Just a hint, If you put a clue in the heading like 'Alba mp3 player won't instal' you will get more help and the heading will be useful for others searching for problems with this device, otherwise, sorry I can't help
