please dont post URL"s to suspect sites

  end 15:05 05 Feb 2005

can we please remind ourselves that it is extremely unhelpful ( and probably against forum rules)to post a link to a site that you know is infected (having gotten yourself infected from it), or is a porn site or whatever; if the "click here" is pressed, yet another machine is doomed to be infected, or the unwary sent to a porn site that they would wish to remain away from;

(I have been looking at a thread that has a click here that goes to an infected site(no, am not infected!!) )

if you wish to allert memebrs to a site to "stay away from" the please space out the ULR so that it does not become a click here

can we please help each other to stay away from these infections ::))

I'm with you end, but I must agree with ACOLYTE that I haven't seen any of these website (that I can recall at the moment) posted in this forum....

Could you tell us which one it is, end, please? so we don`t go there unawares....

there is a possible one on this thread

click here

which is why I am bumping my thread again; if I am wrong then I appologise, but the poster seems to state that they have been to a suspect site and picked up "unwanted visitors"::((
