theres a pixel out on mesh flat screen was told by mesha 7 have to go brfore replacement is this so what do you reckon

Hi joey bloggs. Unfortunately that's how things are with flat panel screens. Some manufacturers guarantee no dead pixels, but they are in the minority. The reason is that to get zero dead pixels reduces the yield in manufacturing the panels, and so puts up the price. If the dead pixel is in the panel centre you may have a valid complaint, but if it's near the edge it probably comes under the same category as a slight defocussing at the edge of a crt display.

How long have you had the monitor? If less than 7 days and received by post or Courier then you can send it back under the distance selling regs, don't have to say why even, or you could ask for a different make/model.
