Pinnacle Studio V Picture Passage

Dear Colleagues
Having read a previus post by aLB on 12/1/05 in reference to Sony Camcorders, in which derekR stated 'Picture Package' is a 'coaster' CD. I have just bought a Sony DCR HC14E camcorder which contained the software 'Picture Package'.My new PC is from Evesham, and has a AMD 3400+ processor, 160 GB of HDD and I GB of PC3200 Ram with a high end Graphics Card which cost £350 - sorry I cannot remember it's name - but the computer came with Pinnacle Studio V9 pre-installed. My question is should I install 'Picture Package' or leave Pinnacle Studio V 9 to do it's job.
Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry about ant spellin mistakes,I have yet to master 'Spellcheck' while on the Net.

I don't know about Pinnacle Studio 9 but my capture device came with Pinnacle Studio 8. I found the sound sync wasn't very good (about 2 seconds out).

I know use Sonic MyDVD and have no more sync problems.

I would suggest you try Pinnacle Studio 9 and check if there are any sound sync problems. Make up your mind from there.
