Pink colour negatives

I have embarked on the thing we all say we will do one day. Sort out the family photos.

Many of the colour print negatives are over 30 years old and have come out a lovely shade of pink when scanned is there any easy way to correct this or should I put the lot in the bin.

Is this to do with the base colour of the negative material, an orange/pink colour. If so most scanning software will allow for this.

With most photo editing software you can correct any colour balance problems. It just takes a little experimentation till you find the best way to do it.
