Ping on wireless network.

Hi. I heard that pings are much higher while using wireless connection than wired one. It's quite important for me because I like playing online especially FPPs. But it's easier to connect my pc to cable router wireless rather than by ethernet cable. So is this true and how big approximately is the difference in miliseconds?

As a "wired" network connection is faster and more reliable than a "wireless" one, I cannot see how you could have a shorter ping time by connecting wirelessly. In any case, unless you have a very fast internet connection and slow 802.11b wireless connection, the network connection between computer and router will be much faster than the broadband internet speed, so wired or wireless shouldn't make any difference.
