Pinball in XP

  mentalguy66 18:31 24 Apr 2006

My sister likes to play pinball on Windows XP, but when I try to access it, it says:
'WAVEMIX.INF is missing - it must be in the pinball directory!'
What does this mean, because WAVEMIX.INF is in the Pinball folder but it still isn't working. Please help, as I would like my sister to stop moaning about it...

my pinball works ok, this is the path it is in on a typical xp install

C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball

if you click on the yellow envelope next to my name and send a simple e-mail, i will send you the file as an attachment.

if you do this, please remember to virus-scan it before opening or using it.

the file in question is only a setup information file and is only 3kb in size.

If you have a full XP CD, Not a Restore disc you can remove games from windows then reinstall them to sort the Problem
