picture grams

I occasionally send quirky e-mails to my friends, which instead of text they are picture grams made up from clip art.

Twice recently I have heard from them they get only the dreaded boxes with the red cross in.

Is this something I am/not doing or is it a setting they need to make?

One of them is on AOL – which I am told can be quirky in its own fashion.

They have probably adjusted OE to plain text. It needs rich text to show the piccies as they should be inside the email.

Alternatively I find that pictures which are copied to email without being copied to hard disk first look great as emails but when you look in your sent box the red boxes have replaced your visual delights.
