I wish to post some pictures which have a cloud type edge. I have Picture-It, but using that retains the oblong outline. Any suggestions, please?

Post where? You'd need to know the colour of the background and match the bakground of your own image to that. Then your cloudy edge will be the border.

For that one, you would change your background to blue.

I'm not familiar with your software Graham so this may not work,

Change your 'canvas' setting to transparent.
Use your 'eraser' to remove any remaining outline.

Hope that helps

I don't think I can do that in PictureIt.

That will only work if you save it as a GIF or PNG - formats that support transparency.

If you hit the limit of Picture It, try The GIMP.

Thanks, as above, I can't do that. I need new software.

Thanks, I'm off to GIMP!
