other peoples photos?

Hi again.

I have Picasa installed myself, paid for the extra storage and uploaded them online. I have allowed a family member access to a certain folder, using their email as someone being allowed to see the photos besides myself. Do they now need picasa installed on their own PC to be able to view the photos?

Many thanks for any replies. I always appreciate any help given!

Thank you for your reply. I must be doing something wrong then.
I've sent the link to a family member and he cannot access the photos. I will try again.

Thank you!

Try sending them by e-mail using the e-mail link in your Picasa

I think that is what he is trying to do.

Picasa web is behaving rather strangely of late.
Friends who could see all my gallery are now only accessing about half of 139 albums.
We have tried varying the visibility settings with no luck.
Picasa web forums also have threads on it allbeit of fairly long standing whereas my problem only started a month or so back.
The forums don't seem to help much due to a lack of response from Picasa. click here
Hopefully your problem is eaier to solve than mine.
I have used Picasa web for years with no problems till now.
Have you tried actually using the 'Share' button. instead of copy/ pasting the link? If that is what you are doing.
