Picasa 3 - driving me mad

  johnincrete 08:11 10 Sep 2009

All I want to do is to process the pictures in a folder on my hard disk, ultimately to create a slide show on a CD.
I used File/Add folder
but it just isn't in Picasa - but 1000's of other images are. No reference to the folder anywhere in Picasa.
I've little hair to tear out. Can anyone help me please

Thanks but I know how to create the slideshow. The problem is I can't find the folder in Picasa

Perhaps having Picassa do a re-scan of your hard drive will pick it up ?

The pics have just been added and Picasa should automatically pick them up. No change when I exit & restart

think you can select which areas for it to scan and monitor

You'll probably have to use Export to Folder and then Browse to the path of the folder you have created on the hard drive.

Go to Picasa3>File and scroll down...

sorry the re-scan didn't work. In the past I have re-installed picassa and made sure al boxes of ile types were ticked. This found some scanned documents I had lost/forgotten about.

Why not forget Picassa, just create a New Folder on your Desktop, rename the folder as required and leave it on the Desktop with the pics in it.
