Can some tell me if Picasa will run on win 98

Thanks for that pointer. I thought that there was just a chance iy might work. I want a program for a neighbour similar to picasa that I can download and put on his computer by CD transfer as he is not on the internet. Any ideas???

click here Photomeister and click here cpicture list W98 as a viable OS, though click here cpicture may need the addition of UnicoWS.dll to work with 98

it will.

I used it on my win 98se until I upgraded to XP shortly before Christmas.

It worked fine.

Can concur with Simsy. Picasa 2 is running on my 98se dual boot. It just needs 800 x600 16bit or higher.

Take a copy of it with you.

anskyber has posted a link in this thread, click here that shows that it is a particular version of picasa that is needed to run on Win98 or WinMe...

I must have had that version.
