Hi, I'm new to PHP and I'm experimenting and in my code i'm getting this error. Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home/fhlinux199/websitename/user/htdocs/one.php on line 2

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/fhlinux199/v/websitename/user/htdocs/one.php on line 2

I was wondering whether anyone could tell me what this error actually means. Thanks 23:19 01 Mar 2005

There is an unexpected slash in line 2 of the code.
Check that lines 1 and 2 are correct, and that you haven't missed a semi colon or something.
