I have just purchased a DVd Player which displays my family photos as a slideshow.
I burn the photos to cdrom using Nero 5.0
Is there a way to add sound to the slideshow or will I have to update the software
Many thanks

Update to Nero 6.0 this allows you to do that.

If you are into making home movies as well then Pinnicale 8 also lets you do this for pictures, but a bit expensive if only using for Photo Album VCD.

Thanks James.
I had a vague idea that it was going to cost me.

I think most of the digi cameras software can do this, i may be wrong, but i know HP does.

Irfanview is free and one of the most useful bits of software available. With it you can make your pics into a slide show and add music.

I think you need nero 6 and plugin though ?

Thanks again you helpers

I find this program very good ,it lets you create 99 slide shows each with up to 99 photos on one CD
and you can add your own music mp3 or wave files to play as background music, only one draw back if you ain't got broadband it can take up to 100 Min's to download, but well worth it as it completely free.

Hi Socalled
Took up your suggestion and NTL cut me off with five minutes to go.

Alternatively if no Nero6 plugin you could do it as a Powerpoint slide show with music.

No you couldn't because the DVD wouldn't play it. Don't waste time on this nonstarter.
