The + means 00

Hi Magik ®©

When dialling +33 miss out the first 0 of the ten digit number,ie. +33 5 55 55 55 55.

Bon Chance.

Sapins.

the + means the international code. In the UK it's 00 - so you need to dial 0033 and then the rest of the number.

0033 is the international code for France, incidentally.

Wes Tam ;-) is right of course, the + = 00.

So, dial 0033 5 55 55 55 55

Yes Sapins is right. If the number in France is, say, 0234 567890 you'll need to dial 0033 234 567890.

Just another bit of info.
I think if you press and hold the + sign on a mobile phone it puts in the 00 for you, don't know if this is on ordinary phones in the UK.
