I got a Sony Erickson Micro SD card yesterday but shape is different to my Nokia 6300 should it still fit and work, just a fraction bigger. Will it fit lugs are different

I doubt very much whether it will work in your Nokia. I would not try it personally.

I have no opened it so I think I will take it back.

I thought Micro SD was all the same.

Problem is I have to trip over from Penistone to Sheffield DonVally Stadium Comp Fair I got it yesterday with a DVDRW and a XP Home oem CD.

Are well I'll get me coat

Just as a matter of interest - my Nokia has a Micro xD, are you sure yours is SD?

Nokia spec is:

Expandable memory: microSD card up to 2GB

My Micro SD card in my phone is also called Transflash.

Sony Ericsson use Memory Stick Pro Duo , and it's smaller cousin the micro M2 .

  Technotiger 15:00 03 Feb 2008

Oooops Sorry - mine is Micro SD, from ScanDisk. I was getting confused with the Micro xD in my digital camera.

  Technotiger 15:02 03 Feb 2008

I still would not use a Sony Ericsson card in a Nokia though.

Been back and swapped it, I had fetched a Micro Stick., Not Micro SD. Also bought a 1Gb stick memory for my HP laptop. It only as one slot, and that had 512mb in it. Is the Price right for a 1Gb I paid £28

  Technotiger 16:18 03 Feb 2008

OK, alls well that ends well - that was a very fair price, can go at up to £40-£60.

Don't forget the Green-tick !
