Persistent Virgin icon

Recently I tried to install Virgin dial up internet - the installation appeared to go well but in the end refused to connect properly so I decided to remove it and try another ISP (which was successful). Unfortunately the Virgin setup does not have an uninstall option, and more annoyingly the desktop icon does not have a delete property.
Any ideas for removing this Virgin package gratefully received.

Start; Search and search for 'virgin'.

Delete all that you find and then get rid of any leftovers with click here

Run both 'Windows' and 'Applications' under Cleaner Settings and also run 'Issues'.

You can safely delete all that it finds.

Thank you Jackcoms - I did as you suggested but the persistent icon was still there, although it had lost it's red Virgin detail... I then tried a restore to a date before the installation attempt and I am delighted to report that IT has gone.

Guess who is not going near Virgin again! Thanks again.

You can Delete an ISP account from Internet Explorer's Tools>Internet Options>Connection tab as well as set one up.
