permanently deleting msn messenger contact

  kane_2001 15:35 24 Feb 2007

although I know I can delete and block a contact on MSN messenger, is there any way of PERMANATLY deleting the contact. If they appear in my blocked list, I right click but do not get the option to delete ( it doesnt highlight ). just to unblock or re-add to contacts. Any ideas on how to PERMANENTLY delete a contact. any prog that can be used to do thie etc?

Hi, as far as I know it just cannot be done, even if you contact MSN, they will just give you a load of waffle like 'Privacy Act' or something. The only way round it is to change your hotmail address, which is a lot of nuisance.

You can't unless they delete you also.

Hi again - just a thought, but if you and your friendly contacts have unwanted contacts, why not change over to Skype. This is what I and all my relatives and friends use - gives better results in my opinion anyway. Skype has everything that Messenger has, and more.
