PDF.HTM Document

I downloaded a pdf.htm document sometime ago but what is displayed is all the code.Can this be deciphered by some means?

Thanks Technotiger but that means spending money or signing for offers so that is out. Anybody got free ideas?

PDF and HTM are two different file types, dfb70uk. Are you saying that you have a PDF file...... or a HTML file called "PDF"?

I would think that you have downloaded the link to a pdf file instead of the actual pdf file.

I find this happens when a website automatically generates PDF files, such as invoices. The button to open the pdf actually opens a new webpage that contains the PDF, so if you rightclick the button and select "save target as..." all you will get is the webpage, not the pdf.

Does the content of the html file not give you a clue where it came from.

Try opening it in notepad and search for a tag called <A HREF"...

This may contain the address of the PDF file
