The ecard thread has brought to mind that I'm getting a lot of emails supposedly with a pdf attachment.BT is rightly sorting these into the spam trap and I don't know what they or the supposed pdf file contains but, I do know it's something I don't want so, be warned, folks. Also, new ones (to me, anyway) on the false banking front are Lloyds TSB and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
I have had false Lloyds which I forwarded to [email protected] I know it was false as I do not have an account with Lloyds.
"I know it was false as I do not have an account with Lloyds."Which is not the point. No bank (whether you have an account with them or not) will ever send e-mails asking you to verify your security details or ask you to click on a link.
Had those, plus some US ones, many times over the last couple of years...:-)They all originate in my mail box by courtesy of Tiscali (via a still in use WorldOnline e-mail address).
