some years ago I scanned a load of old photos and put them on cd's, my daughter now wants to view them using her DVD player and TV. I recently got a dig camera superb and have noticed files are jpg.Question what is the difference? and will the pdd files need to be changed? please don't get too techy
Many thanks in anticipation.

click here for a site explaining as clearly as any I've seen the pros and cons of different formats.

I don't know about PDD files. AFAIK Adobe Photoshop files are usually PSD extension while Kodak are PCD extension. Either can be converted to JPG to save space using a free utility like Irfan View click here This will also save photos as a slideshow.
