PCTel Modem

I have a laptop from Time Computers which has a PCTel HSP 56k V.90 modem built in. However, it only runs at 28.8k and never varies from this up or down. Is this a case for an updated driver, if so where do I get one as the Time website does not have updates for this.

Many thanks for you help.

This is a link to a list of all the HSP 56k Drivers, choose your one from the list, info on how to determine which one you need is further up that page.

Its unlikely to be the drivers gents to be honest

Try a different cable/extension and get BT to check your line.

Cheers
